XL Bullies & other exempted breeds DEFRA 2024
YOU ARE ALL WELCOME HERE
For your exempt breed to run free without a muzzle you must be one household
Two households can share the secure park but your XL/banned breed must remain on a lead and with their muzzle on
Your dog must be registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and provide a copy of the life certificate in case of a claim. This can be uploaded on booking.
A copy of your public liability insurance certificate must be provided in case of a claim.
The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless with other dogs from the same household.
Your dog is Neutered as are Government Rules
Your dog must be Microchipped
Your dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled in the car park until you are through the gate into the field and the gate is shut and locked from the inside. Both gates must be locked.
Your dog must be put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to enter the car park.
The field is securely fenced and must be locked so your dog cannot escape. You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secure field/woodland.
If one household has more than one dog, they can come to the field together as long as you remain with your dog at all times. All dogs leads and muzzles can be removed once in the field including the XL Bully.
If there are dogs from two different households, all banned/exempt breeds must remain muzzled and on a lead at all times with a 1:1 handler (ie a second handler for the other dogs)
